Buena Vista Audobon Society’s Nature Center
Visit a coastal wetlands habitat at the Buena Vista Audobon Society’s Nature Center. A number of classes, story time groups, guides and outreach programs are offered weekly.
Sited on the Buena Vista Lagoon, the Center offers a variety of natural history experiences. In the course of an afternoon, you can walk amid native plants, see views of the lagoon, check out the bird life, discover tracks along the short that reveal night time animal visitors, tour the garden of native plants, find the world’s tiniest mammals in one of the exhibits of the local habitat, learn what endangered species live in the lagoon and challenge your children with nature games.
