There are neighbors, local families, great food, fast service, friendly staff and wonderful surf and skate decor. Their fresh squeezed OJ, vanilla coffee and crunchy french toast is awesome. It is a local family favorite.

Rosina’s Italian Restaurant opened in August of 2008 and serves some of the best Italian food. Within walking distance of the Residence Inn in Oceanside, the gorgeous restaurant serves food with the simplest but delicious of ingredients. Ask the manager, and she’ll tell you that the ingredients come from the freshest sources.

This small hole-in-the-wall restaurant serves excellent BBQ dishes. The staff is amazingly friendly and accommodating. The homemade spicy BBQ sauce is one of the best served, they serve an excellent slow-smoked brisket, and the sides are incredible. The meat is truly smoked and truly comes quite close to a real Texan cooked BBQ.

Great and HUGE fish-n-chips in Oceanside. The batter is quite tasty and the fresh cod is Alaskan cod, which makes it a juicy and not fishy meal. They also serve huge shrimp and chips, and the coleslaw is quite excellent. The relaxed setting stills offers quite a battle to find a place to sit – it can be quite popular!

Their yummy pasta, atmosphere and quality of food is quite excellent. The fish isn’t too fishy and quite delicious. The “dark” setting creates a romantic evening for couples and cozy atmosphere for families. On the weekend, they have an opera singer which makes thing just that much more nice.

Dominics serves the best claim chowder and bread sticks. The Italian food is quite good in this diner. They serve the best calzones, new england style clam chowder and homemade lasagna. The breadsticks are warm, buttery and will keep coming! The service is excellent and you have a great view of the harbor and the pacific ocean as the restaurant sits right on the doc at the harbor.

This hidden jewel serves the best fish taco’s in Oceanside. It’s a very popular place for local to come and watch soccer matches broadcast in Spanish on a big screen TV (TV’s are at most corners so you won’t miss the action). They offer some of the best burritos, great salsa bar and many classic Mexican authentic dishes. The diner gets very busy on weekends.
